Job Description

The Associate Manager, Corporate Communications, will play a vital role in growing the corporate Radisson Hotel Group brand and reputation, by supporting Radisson Hotel Group’s Corporate Communications team as well as the regional PR teams on the activation of the Group’s Corporate Communications Strategy. You will help Radisson Hotel Group stand apart from its competitors, and curate newsworthy corporate stories which are aligned with the Group’s business targets, and you will play a key supporting role in helping Radisson Hotel Group reach its goal to be recognized as one of the top 3 hotel companies in the world. 
 
This role is a perfect fit for candidates who have worked 5 years in an international environment, in corporate communications and/or as a spokesperson, someone who thinks outside of the box, works independently and in an entrepreneurial context, manages projects with utmost attention to quality, and who has a “Yes I can! Attitude”. 
 
The position reports directly into the Corporate Director, Public Relations & Communications. Candidates must have at least five years’ experience and be fluent in both written and spoken English to be eligible. Native English and good knowledge of French is a plus. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate and help create newsworthy corporate stories which are aligned with the Group’s business targets. 
  • As a member of the global Corporate Communications team, you will work on the roll-out of the Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy and key messages. This includes liaising with different internal departments and key stakeholders, including executives, gathering information and insights, and managing forward-planning for corporate communication projects. 
  • Prepare and manage external as well as internal communications to support Corporate PR activities. 
  • Support the Corporate Communications team working alongside the regional PR teams to handle daily media requests and corporate press opportunities. 
  • Lead the execution of the Group’s award strategy and support the regional PR teams with the development of their local award strategy. Build relationships with the main award organizations and media outlets. 
  • Align and coordinate with the Consumer and Social Media team on generating visibility for key Corporate PR messages and successes.  Consolidate the Group’s corporate communications calendar in close collaboration with other key departments such as Consumer Communications, Responsible Business, and HR, based on key milestones, targets, and KPIs. 
  • Ensure all Corporate Communications Collateral, such as company presentations, factsheet, and key messages, as well as corporate website pages, including the Group’s Press Release and Media page, are kept up to date. 
  • Prepare departmental reporting and KPI tracking including the collating of press release coverage reports. 
  • Be an active learner and keep an eye out for interesting news stories and topical dates. Be proactive in suggesting potential Corporate Communication actions and prepare the necessary corporate communication materials, as well as the preparation and distribution of the Group’s daily internal Media Monitoring News Brief. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, PR, and/or Languages.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role in corporate communications and/or as a spokesperson, working either in an agency or in a corporate communications team, in an international context. 
  • Good understanding of media relations as well as digital and social communications.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of another European language – French is a plus. 
  • Ambitious and proactive thinker with a “Yes I can!” attitude. 
  • Strong team player. 
  • Excellent communication, writing, and social skills. 
  • Excellent project management skills with an acute eye for detail. 
  • Excellent computer skills. 
  • Flexible and cooperative. 
  • Avid interest in hospitality, sustainability, technology and international politics. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize requests from different internal stakeholders. 
  • Experience with crisis communications is a plus. 
  • Mastery of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
